Golden Alert issued for missing Hardin County woman

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Golden Alert has been issued for a missing Hardin County woman.

According to a news release from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, 28-year-old Amber M. Foster was last seen on foot in the vicinity of Cheddar's restaurant on W. Dixie Ave., near S. Wilson Road.

Police say she is mentally challenged and has also been taking medication for seizures. When she left home, she did not take any extra clothing with her and she didn't have her medication.

Foster has shoulder length hair, blue eyes and a medium build. She is 5'-2" tall and weighs 125 lbs. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a light blue winter coat with a hood, black tennis shoes and a knit animal cap with bear ears.
