LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mourdock is using Indiana's governor to try to get past his controversial comments about rape and pregnancy.
Mourdock's campaign just inserted a picture of him with Mitch Daniels into its ad featuring Mitt Romney.
Last night Daniels ducked a question about Mourdock's comments on Comedy Central's The Colbert Report, saying he's non-combatant in the race.
Mourdock has refused to apologize for the comment, saying he was misunderstood and never meant that God intends rape.
