LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Henry County man is behind bars after police say they found a meth lab in his car.
Kentucky State Police officials say they arrested 23-year-old Joshua Clift Saturday evening after a trooper smelled "a very strong chemical odor" coming from his vehicle, which was parked near his home in the 200 block of Pendleton Loop in Pendleton.
Police searched Clift's car and found an active meth lab and ingredients used in the manufacturing of meth.
Four children, between the ages of four and 16 were also found in Clift's home. None of them were exposed to the meth lab.
Clift has been charged with manufacturing and possessing meth. He is being held at the Carroll County Detention Center.
