LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Trimble County woman has died from injuries she suffered in a crash on Friday.

76-year-old Norma Puckett of Carrollton was on Highway 42 near La Grange when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

Puckett was taken to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital, and later to University Hospital.

She later died from her injuries. Police say Puckett was wearing a seatbelt.
