LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they have a possible description of the vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run accident on Grade Lane.

Monday afternoon, the Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 38-year-old Travis Christy.

Police say a passing motorist discovered Christy in a ditch on Grade Lane around 6 a.m. When police arrived, they found Christy, along with a bike.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner's office is listing "multiple blunt force injuries" as the cause of death.

The driver left the scene.

LMPD says the vehicle is possibly a Silver Ford F-150, unknown year, with damage to the right side of the vehicle and a missing side passenger mirror. The vehicle may also have front right headlight damage.

It's asking anyone with information to please the Anonymous Crime Tip Hotline at 574-LMPD (5673).

Police say it looks like the Christy was headed south on Grade Lane when he was struck.

Grade Lane was closed between Fern Valley Road and Knopp Avenue for several hours police investigated.
