Base salary and retention contribution: $3,900,000*
Retention bonuses: Beginning in 2014: $600,000 on April 1 of 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022. (These are payable to his estate upon death of employee during his tenure).
Performance incentives:
Big East Tournament champ $50,000*
Big East regular season champ or co-champ $50,000
Sweet 16 $50,000*
Elite Eight $50,000*
Final Four $75,000*
NCAA champion $150,000*
AP national coach of the year $100,000
Academic incentives:
Team GPA of 2.25 $25,000*
Team GPA of 2.50 $50,000*
Team GPA of 2.75 $75,000*
Team GPA of 3.00 $100,000
APR of 950 or better (beginning 10/13) $50,000
Other items:
One courtesy car
Country club membership
University benefits (health, retirement, term life, disability)
No buyout clause
