LG&E, KU want to raise rates

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A meeting later this month could determine whether your LG&E bill will be going up.

The Kentucky Public Service Commission is holding public meetings across the state.  LG&E wants to raise rates by almost 7 percent.

The company wants to generate an additional $62-million annually with the rate hike.  Kentucky Utilities also wants to raise rates.

Louisville's meeting is scheduled for 5:30 at Male High School on November 20th.
