LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A Floyds Knobs woman appeared in court Thursday morning and pleaded not guilty to killing 26-year-old Mikel Kimbley. Jennifer Hack is charged with murder.

Kimbley was found last month lying next to a home on Main Street near 25th Street. He was bleeding and trying to stand up. Kimbley was rushed to University Hospital where he died two days later.

Police say Hack and Darrell Bryan were meeting with Kimbley when he was struck in the head with some kind of object. The judge says Hack is also wanted in Indiana for drug charges.

Bryan is in jail in Floyd County on unrelated charges and will also be charged in Mikel's murder.
