LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Five students were taken to the hospital after a crash involving JCPS Bus #0125.

According to JCPC spokesman Ben Jackey, it happened about 7 a.m. on Terry Road near Paradise Lane in southwest Jefferson County. That's where the bus was rear-ended by a pickup truck.

We're told 11 students from Valley High School and Stuart Middle School were aboard the bus. Jackey says five of the 11 students were transported with what he described as "minor injuries."

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

The remaining six students who were not injured were taken on to school.
