LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Retired and active service members, their families, and friends all packed into a large equipment storage building at the Kentucky Veteran Cemetery in Radcliff on Monday to commemorate Veterans Day.
This year was the first Veterans Day holiday there without a World War I survivor still alive to mark it.
Veteran Larry Herzog says, "A lot of people put in good time to put these things together, and you can see by the turnout -- patriotism, and that's what the country needs, a lot of patriotism."
VFW post 10281 from Vine Grove coordinated the event.
