
The deadline to enter the Christmas at the Galt House Hotel Gingerbread House Contest has been extended. Chef Brian Riddle and his team show Keith Kaiser how to take gingerbread construction to another level.
Contestants can now turn in their entry form when they bring their gingerbread house to the Galt House Hotel on November 14 or 15, 2012.
Kids from one to 92 can show off their sweetest creations during Christmas at the Galt House Hotel and have the chance to win a cash prize.
$1,500 in Cash Prizes Up For Grabs
FIRST PLACE PRIZES:
Professional Category: $1,000
Amateur Adult Category (Ages 13 & Older): $300
Amateur Child Category (Ages 12 and under): $200
ENTRY FEE:
Professional Category: $25
Amateur Adult Category (Ages 13 & Older): No Fee
Amateur Child Category (Ages 12 and under): No Fee
All entries must be 100% edible with the only exception being the base.
Judging will be based on the following: originality, creativity, holiday theme, architecture, construction and appearance.
