LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man died after a car crash near Carefree, Ind., Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities had not released his name late Wednesday because relatives had not been notified.
The county sheriff and county coroner said the man likely had a medical condition and was stricken as he was driving on State Road 66, about three miles north of Interstate 64.
His car left the road, struck a tree and caught fire. Passersby pulled the man from the vehicle; however, he was dead at the scene, said coroner Chris Brown.
Police received reports of the crash about 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, Brown said.
