Owners Lynn and Mike Cummins share their cornbread recipe that goes with their pulled pork BBQ. They also brought along some favorites including red velvet cake!
The Whistle Stop Cafe Cornbread
1 1/2 cup SR Flour
1 1/2 cup SR Corn Meal mix
1/4 cup sugar
3 eggs beaten
3/8 cup oil
3 cups milk approx.
Mix all dry ingredients. Add liquids. Start with 2 cus milk and stir until the right consistency to ladle out and fry in a hot skillet
