LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky State Fair Board is hiring about 250 part-time workers for events at the Kentucky Exposition Center, International Convention Center, and KFC Yum Center.

The positions include ticket sellers, ticket takers, greeters, ushers, concierges, and t-shirt security. They work during family shows, concerts, and U of L basketball games.

Anyone applying has to be 18 years old and are asked to call (502) 367-5022 beginning Thursday, November 15 at 10 a.m. Appointments will be taken from 9 a.m.-5p.m. daily.

Interviews will be conducted at the Kentucky Exposition Center and Kentucky International Convention Center and will last about two hours. Training for new hires will begin in January 2013.
