LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man they say was caught breaking into cars in the Galt House parking garage.
It happened Sunday morning, just before 10:00 at the upscale hotel near the corner of N. 4th St. and Duncan St.
According to an arrest report, 25-year-old James W. Dudeck was apprehended by Galt House security. Police say they found a marijuana roach, a Kindle notebook, a $20 black Oakley's sunglasses case, a $150 mini iPod, a $168 gold chain and approximately $30 in assorted change on his person.
Nearby, police say they also found a checkbook that belonged to Uniontown Baptist Church, a $300 brown leather jacket and a $100 leather portfolio.
Dudeck allegedly admitted to breaking into a silver Toyota Camry, a maroon Chevy Malibu and a silver Honda Accord and taking the aforementioned property.
He was charged with -- among other things -- theft and possession of marijuana, according to an arrest report.
