LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- One bracelet at a time, a local 7-year-old girl is making a difference for children's charities.
For the last two years, Angelica Smith has been making and selling the bracelets. She's also featured this month in NFocus Magazine for the "Future Faces of Philanthropy."
After seeing our story about the Salvation Army being short on turkeys, Angelica took a two-day break from raising money for the Ronald McDonald House and raised money instead for the turkeys.
She got enough money to purchase five turkeys.
"Angelica's Charity Bracelets" are sold online and through booth sales at craft fairs and community events.
