SLIDESHOW: New Albany Police ask for help in solving gas station robberies

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- New Albany Police are asking for help in solving two recent gas station robberies. 

Both robberies happened at the Circle K gas station in the 600 block of West Main Street in New Albany.  Police believe the same person committed the robberies on October 4 and November 17.

The robber was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with an unknown logo on the front.  It also had a red emblem on the left sleeve. 

The clerk who was working during the November 17 robbery described the robber as an African-American man, about 5'7" to 5'9" and weighing between 155 and 165 pounds.  The man is believed to have had a handgun during both robberies.
