LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Okolona Fire had to respond twice Wednesday to fires in the same home. Okolona Fire Chief Rich Carlson says there are "more questions than answers" in the two fires in the 5,000 block of Woodsend Drive near Preston Highway and the Gene Snyder.
The first one happened around 1:30 Thursday afternoon -- firefighters put out a burning couch. By 3:30, they had cleared the scene.
But they came back around midnight for a fire that rendered the home a total loss. The investigation is continuing.
The one person who was living in the house is staying with relatives.
