LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- David Williams' name has been removed from an exposition center in Corbin, because of a tax controversy.
Corbin leaders say Williams didn't do enough to protect the city during a tax revenue dispute.
The city commissioner says they decided to remove his name before he resigned from the state Senate this month. Williams accepted a judicial appointment in southern Kentucky.
Williams says he's not upset by the city's decision. He says he didn't want his name on the building in the first place.
The 5,000 seat concert hall will now be known as the Corbin Arena.
