LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Holiday shoppers are hoping for a little more green under the Christmas tree.
That's because Saturday's Powerball jackpot is $325 million dollars, or about $213 million in the cash option, before taxes.
It's the fourth-highest Powerball jackpot and one of the highest since Powerball tickets increased to two dollars each at the beginning of this year.
Even though Powerball is selling fewer tickets, the game is making more money for states like Kentucky and Indiana -- and it's generating higher jackpots.
