LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A disguise didn't keep an accused robber from being arrested.
In May, police say 20-year-old Matthew Epperson was wearing a black wig while crouching down by a car in the Mall Saint Matthews parking lot watching a woman load her car up. Police say she tried to hold onto her purse as he jumped up to grab it, then threatened her with a knife.
A witness starting yelling, and police say Epperson fled without the purse. The witness wrote down a license plate number, and police later found a backpack containing a black wig and Epperson's ID in the mall.
