LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 52-year-old Louisville man is in trouble with the law after an officer noticed he appeared to be drunk when exiting a wooded area near the 700 block of Gilliand Road near Miles Park.
That's where an LMPD officer says he spotted Jeffrey A. Ford coming from the woods about 6:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the arrest report, Ford "appeared to be manifestly under the influence of alcohol."
When confronted, police say Ford -- who was not wearing an orange vest as required by law -- dropped a beer can.
Police say Ford was unsteady on his feet, smelled strongly of alcohol, and failed field sobriety tests.
Ford was arrested and charged with illegally pursuing a deer and hunting under the influence of alcohol.
