CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) -- Clarksville Police say a girl found her father, shot to death, as she arrived home from school.

Officers say 39-year-old Billy Chambers was dead just inside the front door of the home in the 800 block of Parkwood Drive, near the Green Tree Mall.

They responded about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say Chambers had been shot several times.

Officers are looking for Chambers' white, 2001 Mustang Cobra with Clark County, Indiana plate 496 LPU.

Police believe the car and Chambers were last seen in the neighborhood about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
