Frankfort Police seek information on home invasion robbery

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Frankfort Police are seeking information on a home invasion robbery at Leawood Square Apartments on Tuesday.

21-year-old Darren Bryant told police he opened his door to what he assumed was a maintenance man, but two men forced themselves in.  Police say they forced him to the floor at gunpoint and blindfolded him.  Bryant told police they threatened him with the gun and demanded money.

The suspects left after taking Bryant's car and some other items.  The car was found abandoned in the Century Plaza Shopping Center parking lot.

Police only have a description of one suspect, a black man 5'11" and 190 pounds wearing a tan work jacket, jeans, and a ski mask.  

To the right is a picture of a possible suspect trying to use the victim's bank card.

Frankfort Police ask anyone with information to call Detective Jeff Fogg at 502 875-8523.
