Gas prices jump by nearly 50 cents in Louisville area

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Gas prices have jumped nearly 50 cents in the Louisville area.  Our cameras spotted prices at $3.49 at several gas stations in downtown Louisville.

But prices at other stations around the area, including some in southern Indiana, are still around or below $3 a gallon.  There's no word on what caused the spike.
