LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Louisville man accused of stealing money from the charity he founded is expected in federal court next month.
Stan Curtis is accused of taking more than $180,000 from USA Harvest. Prosecutors say he used the money for meals, entertainment, and travel.
He was supposed to appear in court Wednesday afternoon. However, his attorney asked for a continuance because Curtis is ill.
That hearing is now scheduled for Dec. 20 for what his attorney says will likely be the resolution of the charges.
