LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Funeral services have been set for a 24-year-old Western Kentucky University student who was killed last Sunday after leaving a party in downtown Louisville.
Cheryl Williamson and her friends were attending a party hosted by DJ Drama at the Gillespie in the 400 block of west Market before she was shot.
Witnesses say Williamson was shot after the party during an argument with two men in the early morning hours of Nov. 25. She flagged down a friend who was driving by and got a ride to University Hospital, where she died a short time later.
Family spokesman Christopher 2X says Cheryl Williamson's funeral and visitation will be at the Bates Memorial Church in Smoketown.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m.
