LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- People can now download, upload, and play games faster than ever before.  AT&T says it's now offering lightning fast mobile Internet service in Kentuckiana.

Thursday morning, the company announced it has turned on 4G LTE.  For smart phones and tablets, the response time is expected to be extremely fast.

Chris Percy of AT&T explains, "For consumers if you are getting on Facebook or downloading streaming video, Instagram, whatever is important for you, you can wireless-enable your business, accept payments, set it up to do orders for your customers."

AT&T says this is the technology of the future and says it owns the largest 4G network in the United States.
