LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A boat explosion Thursday afternoon sent one woman to the hospital. It happened just before 2 p.m. at the Rose Island Yacht Club in Oldham County.
WDRB News has been told the woman suffered a severe leg injury when she was tossed by the blast. Oldham County Fire Officials say it was sparked when the boat's owner was trying to start it.
Firefighters had trouble getting to the injured woman and getting her to shore. Two boats in the marina also had minor damage.
