LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Hardin County Coroner has identified a bicyclist killed Saturday night along Dixie Highway in Radcliff.

Hardin County Coroner John Clemens says the victim was 25-year-old Beverly Jeter, of Elizabethtown.

Clemens says Jeter died after she was struck near the corner of Dixie Highway and Yarwood Drive at about 8:45 p.m. Saturday.

Police say Jeter entered the southbound lane of Dixie Highway near Radcliff Elementary School when she was struck. They say a vehicle was unable to stop, and that Jeter was hit several times.

Jeter was pronounced dead at the scene. Accident reconstructionists were investigating the incident Saturday night.

Funeral arrangements will be in South Carolina, where Jeter has family, the coroner says.
