LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- An accident in Floyd County, Ind. Monday morning had a 7-year-old child briefly trapped in a car.
Maj. Jeff Topping of the Floyd County Sheriff's Office tells WDRB News the crash involved a car striking a tree at 7:13 a.m. on Alonzo Smith Road, near John Pectol Road.
The 7-year-old was freed from the car, then taken to Floyd Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
