New Christmas stamp goes on sale

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A new Christmas stamp went on sale Monday.  The U.S. Postal Service unveiled the Holy Family Forever Stamp at Presbyterian Church USA Headquarters.  It shows the dramatic story of the flight of the Holy Family into Egypt.

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer also proclaimed the day "Holy Family Day in Louisville," saying, "For us who are Christians, this is a very high season for us, because it causes us to stop and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas."

You can buy the stamps at your local post office or online.
