LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Fairdale woman died Tuesday after police say she was run over by her sister in a parking lot along Dixie Highway.
It happened just after 2 p.m. near Upper Hunters Trace.
The coroner's office identified the victim as Wilma Richardson, 62, of Fairdale. It released her name on Wednesday. She died of multiple blunt force injuries, deputy coroner Sam Weakley said.
Police said on Tuesday an elderly woman dropped off her sister, Richardson, in the parking lot of a medical center.
She didn't realize her sister was behind the vehicle when she backed up, and hit her.
The victim was taken to University Hospital, where she died at 3:05 p.m., Weakley said.
Police do not expect to file charges.
