LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A third group is joining the legal fight to block tolls on two bridges connecting downtown Louisville to southern Indiana.
The Jeffersonville City Council has tentatively approved giving $10,000 to the Clark-Floyd Convention and Tourism Bureau for the legal fight.
A final vote by the council is likely on Dec. 17.
Members fear tolling will hurt southern Indiana businesses.
But a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet official says tolling is necessary to help pay for the bridges.
