LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Christmas may be a couple of weeks away, but it's not too soon to decorate.
Dozens of families made Christmas ornaments along Frankfort Avenue in Clifton Saturday morning. Kids used play-do to create Christmas trees and other holiday ornaments.
It was all part of the Old Tyme Christmas celebration going on along Frankfort Avenue.
"Yes with Old Tyme Christmas going on today, you've got the horse carriage rides and the trolleys...you've got all day to bring the kids out and have them involved," says Karen Crook, who brought her children to the event. "We thought we'd start the day making Christmas ornaments."
Crook says the area is a great place to bring the family and spend some time for the holidays.
