LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian struck by a fire truck.
Authorities say it happened last night in Lexington.
The coroner identifies the woman as a 27-year-old from Washington D.C.
The fire truck was not on an emergency call when it happened. Rather, it was on its way to a hospital to pick up a crew. Its lights and sirens were not activated.
Police are reviewing surveillance camera footage to determine where the woman was walking when she was struck.
