Meatballs are getting a holiday Twist. Kroger Chef Paul Dowell shows us how to make Cranberry Glazed Meatball Sliders.
Cranberry Glazed Meatball Sliders
Makes 12 small meatball sliders
Meatball
1 lb. Laura's 92% Lean Ground Beef
½ cup Kroger Seasoned Bread Crumbs
1 lrg. Egg (slightly beaten)
½ Sweet Yellow Onion (small diced)
½ Red Bell Pepper (small diced)
1 tsp. Kroger Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp. Kosher Salt
1 tsp. Dijon Mustard
Sauce
1-16 oz. pkg. Kroger Deli Cranberry Celebration
1-12 oz. jar Chili Sauce
Serve With
1-12 ct. pkg. Kings Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (found in Kroger Deli)
12 Decorative Skewers or Long Frilled Toothpicks
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients listed under meatballs. Blend in all ingredients well.
Loosely pack a ¼ measuring cup to form 12 meatballs. Line the meatballs on a baking dish & bake for 20-25 minutes (should read 165 degrees with an internal meat thermometer).
Combine Cranberry Celebration & chili sauce in a small sauce pan & simmer for about 15 minutes.
Remove meatballs from over & toss in the cranberry glaze. Put 1 meatball on each of the King's Hawaiian sweet rolls, skewer, & serve hot.
This is a great idea to serve up more fun for your next holiday party!
