LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Lexington firefighter who was driving the fire truck that hit and killed a woman is now on administrative leave.
Police say 27-year-old Lauren Roady was killed after being hit by the truck near Triangle Park Saturday night. She was from Washington D.C., but was in Lexington for a running competition.
A city spokesperson says firefighter Christopher Presley will remain on leave while the investigation into what happened continues. Police have said the fire truck was on a non-emergency run and making a left turn when Roady was hit.
