LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man allegedly took advantage of a woman's blindness so he could rob her.

On the afternoon of July 9, police say the woman was at the Galt House in Louisville for a convention.

While the woman was there, police say 27-year-old Victor Humphrey approached her and asked if she needed any help. The woman -- who believed Humphrey worked for the convention -- allowed him to escort her around the Galt House.

Police say Humphrey eventually escorted her out of the Galt House and down to the riverfront, where the crime took place. Surveillance video allegedly captured the pair walking together.

According to the arrest report, Humphrey shoved her against the wall, injured her and took her purse.

Police say he was charged with the robbery on Monday.
