LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana has lured several companies that have big plans for the state.
Governor Mitch Daniels announced today that nine companies are planning to move to the state or expand, bringing more than 2500 new jobs with them.
Those companies include Angie's List based in Indianapolis, and an Arizona-based food maker.
The new workers are expected to be hired over a six-year period.
Daniels says it would be hard to pin the planned new jobs on Indiana's right-to-work law he signed earlier this year.
But he said it did not hurt the state's competitiveness.
