Keith Kaiser is learning about the 7th Annual Irish Christmas happening at Molly Malone's Thursday night for a special cause with Patrick Ryan and Mark Wakefield of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians and Donal Ryan of Molly Malone's.
The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) and Molly Malone's Irish Pub in the Highlands will host the 7th Annual Irish Christmas Celebration on Thursday, December 13 from 5-11 p.m.
The event, which each year benefits Father Maloney's Boys' and Girls' Haven, features live Irish music, special menu items, Irish Christmas shopping and a visit from Santa Claus himself.
The event is free, with a small donation requested.
A percentage of all sales at Molly Malone's that night will benefit Father Maloney's Boys' and Girls' Haven.
Irish session musicians will play from 6 to 9 p.m. followed by the Ben Jacobs Band 9:30-12:30 p.m.
A visit from Santa Claus and an official AOH bagpipe procession will be a part the celebration.
A traditional Irish Christmas dinner will be served along with discount pricing on wine, drafts and spirits.
The Molly's Celtic Center, which is located next to Molly Malone's at 931 Baxter Avenue in the Highlands, will stay open until 8:00 pm on the evening for holiday shopping.
The event is sponsored by the Ancient Order of the Hibernians, Molly Malone's, BBC and Jameson Irish Whiskey.
