In an industry first, Expediter Services, the expediting industry’s leading equipment provider, has announced a new program designed to help returning veterans work for themselves by helping them purchase their own truck and become an Owner-Operator.
The program helps veterans over the steep threshold of financing a truck through generous incentives and a unique offering that takes into account a veteran’s work and military experience. “We believe returning veterans have a tremendous value to offer the Expediting Industry. We want to help push them over the down payment threshold by letting their work and military experience be part of their down payment,” said Jason Williams, President of Expediter Services. “Our goal is to assist 300 individuals become Owner-Operators in building their own business by the end of 2013.”
For those who aren’t ready to purchase a truck, Expediter Services also offers opportunities for veterans to team-up as drivers under the company’s New Driver Program. This program gives new drivers the tools and support to become effective immediately. No experience is necessary, all participants need is the desire to learn and achieve at their own level.
