Florida moved past Indiana in one college basketball computer poll.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – How much did Indiana's 88-86 overtime loss to Butler Saturday cost the Hoosiers?
One spot in the rankings in the first computer poll available Sunday morning.
Indiana slipped from number one to two. Who moved ahead of the Tom Crean's team?
Another team that was beaten for the first time – Florida. The Gators led Arizona nearly the entire game before Xavier transfer Mark Lyons scored with about seven seconds remaining to give the Wildcats a 65-64 victory.
So make it Florida first, Indiana second, Louisville third, Duke fourth and Syracuse fifth in the Pomeroy computer rankings. Kentucky is 12th.
The fresh numbers were not available at 7 a.m. from Jeff Sagarin or the RPI site I use.
Louisville remains first in Pomeroy's defensive efficiency rankings, while Indiana slipped from ninth to 12th in defensive efficiency. The Hoosiers are tops in offensive efficiency.
I'll update with the Sagarin numbers and RPI later on Sunday.
