Officials say they are considering scrapping plan to stagger tolls, aim for full tolling in fall 2016.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian Saturday night in Grant County.
The Kentucky State Police say 36-year-old Sheila Ray was driving in the 3000 block of KY 36 at around 8:00 p.m. Saturday when she struck 53-year-old William Bowling, who was walking in the roadway.
Police say Ray was unable to avoid hitting Bowling because of oncoming traffic. Bowling was taken to the University of Cincinnati Hospital, where he later died.
Officials say Ray was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
Police are still investigating.
