Louisville, KY (WDRB) -- More than a year after a Louisville woman's murder, police say the case is now solved. Louisville Metro Police say a tip came in and now two people are behind bars.
Sunday night, police arrested 21-year-old Dominique Grier. He's now charged with murder and robbery. And so is 39-year-old Regina White. who was arrested on Friday. Police say the two are responsible for 40-year-old Angela White's shooting death.
She was found murdered at her home on South 41st Street in November of 2011.
Police say Grier and Angela White knew each other, but the exact relationship is not known. Police also say Regina White is not related to Angela. Police say this was not a cold case.
Lt. Barry Wilkerson with LMPD Homicide says, "It shows the relationship we have internally with the Viper unit who made the arrest last night. So, it's a situation where we are trying to prevent violence. That's a win win for us in the community."
Police will not say what the two are accused of stealing from Angela White. And police do not expect any more arrests in this case.
