LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Christmas is about a week away and unfortunately a lot of people remain homeless. To try to bring a little Christmas cheer at the Wayside Christian Mission, Congressman John Yarmuth handed out Christmas cards today to some of those staying at the mission.
Nina Mosely of Wayside says, "To know that the congressman took time out......really meant a lot to them."
Mosley says the homeless problem in this community continues to grow, and that some Wayside volunteers recently have become homeless themselves. She says donations are always welcome.
