Former McMahan fire chief reports to prison

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Former McMahan fire chief Paul Barth has begun his time behind bars.  Just after 1:30 Thursday afternoon Barth entered the FCI Manchester prison, a medium security facility in eastern Kentucky.

That's where he'll serve about 3-1/2 years for stealing almost $200,000 meant for the Crusade for Children.

Barth has not yet paid restitution, which is also a requirement of his sentence.
