One-third of Meade Co. HS students absent after threat

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The day after a bomb threat at Meade County High School, nearly one-third of its students stayed home.

School leaders tells WDRB that about 500 of its 1600 students were absent.

They say it could be due to the last day of school before the break, or yesterday's bomb threat.

The Meade County sheriff asked whomever is responsible to surrender today, but no one did.

He's already given the FBI certain evidence for further investigation and possible criminal charges.
