Sweaty Sheep's Merry Christmas 5k, eggnog challenge, and homeless fellowship dinner gets starts near the Belle of Louisville on Saturday, December 22nd.
Your $10 registration fee supports both Sweaty Sheep, a Christian outreach program, and the homeless community of Louisville.
This event will include church choirs at every mile, an eggnog Challenge option for any brave racers who decides to down a 4-ounce glass of eggnog at each mile marker, dinner after the race with some of Louisville's homeless community and an optional Christmas worship service after dinner.
Awards will be given for the 5k overall men's and women's winners, the eggnog challenge winner, and the best Christmas running/walking attire.
You may just have a use for the winter green and red sweater complete with tinsel-fringe, lovingly hand-knitted by Aunt Helen, after all.
The race will take place December 22nd 3:30 pm at the Belle of Louisville, with the post-race dinner with the homeless on the Presbyterian Center Lawn (100 Witherspoon in between Humana and the Yum Center).
