LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they arrested an intoxicated woman Saturday evening after she allegedly hit three pedestrians with her car.

According to an arrest report, officers were dispatched to a car accident at the corner of W. Oak Street near Arthur Kling Way, shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Witnesses allegedly told police that 30-year-old Kritina Brather had originally been involved in a car accident, when she started chasing the other vehicle with her car, and in the process, hit three pedestrians who were walking in an alley.

All three pedestrians were taken to the hospital.

When officers approached Brather, she was allegedly "acting hysterical by cussing and screaming, and was not following directions." Police say she kept falling over and was unable to stand without assistance.

Officers allegedly found five Xanax pills in her purse.

Police say Brather's license is suspended and that she has no auto insurance.

According to the arrest report, after arriving at Metro Corrections to be booked into custody, Brather admitted to taking prescription drugs. At one point, she allegedly began cursing at the corrections officer and tried to run out of the room, screaming and exhibiting "hysterical behavior."

Brather was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, three counts of assault, possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended operator's license and failure to maintain required insurance.
